Covering an area of 1500 square km, Halong Bay is dotted with more than a thousand limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water. The calm sea provides an ideal location for sea kayaking as you paddle through a maze of islets amid dramatic natural scenery. You explore the far islets by kayak , unwind on pristine beach and cheer up at bar of escort boat. This is perfect combination of adventure and relaxation.
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay Kayaking
Today we depart hotel at 8h00 and drive towards Halong Bay, truly one of Vietnam's most scenic impressive sights. On arrival in Halong Town we are welcomed on a traditional junk with a refreshing drink and get some boat information as well as kayak orientation. This is time for us to settle into a private comfortable cabin and unpack for a six days exporing Halong Bay. The traditional boat cruises through Dinh Huong island , Ga Choi island, Sung Sot cave before it anchors at Soi Sim area, giving us a free hand kayaking. We row our kayak passing by the limestone karst formations which are littered with beaches and beautiful caves. At sunset we regroup at the escort boat for relaxation and dinner. Day 2: Halong Bay - Cua Van - Ba Ham Kayaking
The sailing junks navigating past over 3,000 limestone islands and outcrops jutting out of the clear and emerald water of the bay make for a marvelous scene. We have an option to get up early to admire the splendid landscape and see the fishmen on a morning catch. The huge breakfast is an impressive way to start our active day. We continue cruising towards Ba Ham area for the second kayaking. Today we paddle around this scenic zone at our pace to explore the mystical rock formations, hidden caves as well as many secluded lagoons. The kayaking is not only activity in places. You have plenty of time for you own pleasure; swimming or simply soaking up the sunshine. O/N on board. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Halong - Lan Ha Bay Kayaking - Ba Trai Dao
Upon leaving our last night stop area we navigate towards Lan Ha Bay. On arrival we get down to the turquoise water and row our kayak past the spectacular rock formations of various shapes and sizes. The modern kayaking equipment will enable rower to easily maximize on speed and venture into the many hidden lagoons or secluded caves. They are particularly difficult to be accessed by different means of transport. We row our kayak across an open sea area to Ba Trai Dao. These unspoiled beaches are an ideal place for anyone seeking an enjoyable escape. The perfect way to round off our day is a sunset paddle or leisurely swim on beaches. O/N on board. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Halong Bay - Hang Hanh - Cong Do Kayaking
The scenic impressive scenery of Halong Bay seems endless. Today we continually explore this world famous wonder and soak up the sunshine and sea as much as we want by spending our time kayaking. The next paddling site is Hanh cave which was naturally decorated with incredible stalactites and stalagmites. They are fabulous for photograph hunters. We discover a scenic grotto by kayak before heading towards Cong Do island in Bai Tu Long. This secluded area is almost off tourist excursions, a wonderful place for an exciting afternoon paddling. Day 5: Halong Bay - Vung Vieng Kayaking - Hang Luon
Today we will row our kayak through Vung Vieng and Yen Ngua Islets on our way to Luon Cave. The long rowing route is somewhat arduous but it is still an unforgettable experience as we paddle through tunnels into secret lagoons and drift down stunning channels beneath towering cliffs. There are plenty of things to see around; however you need to bring along the flash night to fully appreciate the kayaking. At sunset we return to our escort boat to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink from the bar. The fare well dinner is a good way to thank the support team. O/N on board. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Halong Bay - Tam Cung Kayaking - Hanoi
The traditional boat deliver us near Tam Cung cave. We spend few more hours rowing our kayak past Hon Am, May Den and Ba Lai. These imposing islets are aptly named by their distinctive shapes. The amazing blend of the towering islands and the turquoise water is nothing short of spectacular. By mid morning we complete our exciting kayaking adventure and arrange our luggage to cruise back to the Halong pier. The shuttle bus will pick us up for a return journey. The trip ends after arrival in Hanoi. (B,L)
CRUISE INFORMATION:
The escort boat was built as a floating hotel in traditional style to offer a distinctive cruise service in marvelous Halong Bay. This custom designed watercraft in length from 28 to 37 meters ( depending on boat) , features allsafety and comfort to satisfy discerning sea travellers.

KAYAK INFORMATION:
The kayaking equipments consist of paddle, dry bag, life jacket, flash light and sit on top kayak or sit inside kayak. The sit on top kayak has a length of 4 meters and 2 or 3 seats. The sit inside kayak also measures 4 meters and has 2 seats only.
