DETAILED ITINERARY
The delightful town of Luang Prabang is surrounded by the Nam Khan River. This watercourse gives plenty of opportunities for kayaking or rafting. The exciting experience of water sport and interesting views of riverside villages will make for an unforgettable day. Heading out of town we set off on a short drive towards the upstream of the Nam Khan River. The local guide will provide some orientation and instruction in paddling technique. We embark on a rubber kayak for a 5 hour thrilling trip on the Nam Khan River to o explore the riverside life, wonderful countryside and verdant mountain scenery. Along the way we make stop at the breathtaking Tad Sae waterfall for lunch and breather. Upon leaving this site we continue paddling down. The kayak reaches high speeds sometimes when racing across few rapids down to Luang Phabang. This water sport gives a great views of the wonderful landscape and villages close up. The trip ends on arrival in Luang Prabang. (L)
